The Reconnection Retreat

I also run retreats twice a year at a peaceful Lake District cottage.

Nestled between hilly vistas and a tranquil lake, it’s the ideal place to detox from life’s stresses and renew or begin your yoga, meditation and movement practise. With wild swimming, gorgeous organic food and a beautiful sense of connection and community, there’ll be lots of laughs and sometimes tears as we move through our joys and challenges together.

Retreats are open to people of all levels including absolute beginners.

This magical space offers the perfect setting to let go, reconnect and self-renew.

We explore an array of traditional and non-traditional yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices, all tailored to suit where you're at right now on your personal journey.

Enjoy cold-water therapy, mindful eating, and walking in England's most exquisite countryside.

You'll get a chance to deepen and renew your yoga practice through daily vinyasa flow classes, yin, and restorative yoga.

You'll be guided through many simple yet life-changing meditation and mindfulness techniques to help you overcome stress, overwhelm, and a scattered, busy mind.

Feel utterly safe, welcomed and cared for. This weekend is the ultimate in self care

Enjoy nourishing, wholesome, organic food paired with mindful eating practices. Not forgetting the opportunity to detoxify in our outdoor wood-fired sauna or bathe in the relaxing hot tub which overlooks the exquisite, mountainous Lake District.

What Makes This Retreat Special?

When you arrive at Lake Rydal, you're immediately embraced by the environment's peace, tranquillity, and soul. A place where you can restore clarity of mind and heart. Our team is here to support and care for you. All you have to do is be looked after, do some fantastic yoga and give yourself permission to unwind and recharge.

Kayleigh teaches an embodied style of yoga and movement which emphasises Self-awareness, connection, and personal development.

There's a big focus on transferring everything we learn on the mat into daily life. Using poses and movement to gain physical and emotional liberation. It's about looking at our personal patterns to change our life for the better.

We practice non-traditional and traditional yoga, mindfulness, and meditation techniques that embody grace, develop strength and deepen connection whilst having fun in the process.

This is a weekend of serious self-care and deep nourishment, giving you tools to create physical and emotional liberation.

Location

The Daily Telegraph listed the space at 23 in 'Britain's 50 best-kept secrets. It is quoted as 'One of the most mysterious and beautiful of all the Lake District's traditional cottages, once lived in by the opium-eater Thomas De Quincey.'

It is an exceptional place to stay – standing alone beside a small lake and surrounded by mountains.

A breathtakingly beautiful place, the cottage has a warm, cosy, and safe feel to it.

Allowing you to rest deeply, it's the ideal location to unplug and enjoy the beauty of nature.
